Splash Pad Fundraising

September 21, 2016 By Friends of PV Leave a Comment

Friends of Pahranagat Valley received approval at the last Alamo Town Board Meeting to pursue getting a splash pad at the Childrens Park. The plan is to put the new splash pad where the current sand volleyball court is.

We have talked to the company who has done several splash pads in Utah about installing one in Alamo. The splash pad option we are aiming for is 2,400 square feet with a price of $125,000.00. This splash pad has several water spouts and night time lighting. Also included in the price is all the necessary equipment and installation that the company will provide.

We have set a deadline of March 1, 2017. We will collect as many donations as we can and in March we will see what our options are, hopefully getting the splash pad installed that spring of 2017.

Friends of Pahranagat Valley is a non profit organization. We are currently taking donations to pay for the construction and ongoing maintenance costs of the splash pad. Feel free to donate by sending a check to: Friends of Pahranagat Valley P.O. Box 373 Alamo, NV 89001 or by depositing money into our account at the Pahranagat Valley Federal Credit Union.

We are excited about this project and are looking forward to having a nice, cool place to be with our families during the summer!
